This year's Summit featured three incredible keynote speakers - Raquel Aldana, Dr. Rebecca Calisi and Dr. Lizeth Perez.

Raquel Aldana, the Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Diversity and Professor of Law, kicked off the event with her talk "Sustained and Collective Interventions in the Academic Diversity Project at UC Davis". Dr. Rebecca Calisi, Assistant Professor in NPB, followed this with her talk "Addressing issues faced by mothers in science". This event also featured a panel focused on "Women in STEM", which was led by Drs. Kim McAllister, Liseth Perez, Rebecca Calisi, Melissa Bauman, and Veronica Martinez-Cerdeño. The event was wrapped up with a presentation from Dr. Perez, California Council for Science and Technology (CCST) Fellow, titled "The Importance of Membership for First Generation College Students". The event closed with a debrief and networking reception.
