Black Lives Matter and Neuroscience: Why This Moment Matters

Watch the webinar here.

Neuroscience is stronger with diverse perspectives. Although in recent years there have been gains in the percentage of underrepresented neuroscience researchers, there is still more work to be done in building diverse, inclusive, and equitable research environments.

Join us this coming Thursday, July 2, noon–1 p.m. EDT, for the live panel discussion Black Lives Matter and Neuroscience: Why This Moment Matters. Moderator Joanne Berger-Sweeney and panelists Nii Addy, Marguerite Matthews, and Fitzroy ‘Pablo’ Wickham will discuss the challenges diverse neuroscientists face and how the neuroscience community can leverage this moment to influence change.

Neuroscientists of all backgrounds are encouraged to attend and contribute to this open-access discussion.
